WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 6-year-old reported girl missing in Wilmington.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office issued a release saying Stefanny Lenneth Lopez-Castro was last seen at a mobile home park around 5 on Wednesday afternoon.

She is described as white and Hispanic and about 4 feet tall, weighing 39 pounds. The alert says she was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, light pink shorts with white polka dots, and black flip-flops. She has pierced ears and was wearing cubic zirconia earrings.

Authorities believe she may have been abducted by a white or Hispanic man wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with a dragon on it, long black pants and boots. The alert says the man had a black helmet and was last seen on a black moped.
