JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (AP) — A man has been charged with murder in a fatal shooting in Onslow County.
Sher8iff’s deputies tell local media that 42-year-old Joseph McGarry was charged after a shooting Wednesday night at a home in a rural community southwest of Jacksonville.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
McGarry makes a court appearance Thursday. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
