NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Police say a North Carolina woman has died after she was shot over the weekend at a gas station in North Little Rock.
Sgt. Brian Dedrick of the North Little Rock Police Department says 39-year-old Amy Ashley of Raleigh, North Carolina, died Tuesday from her injuries following the Saturday shooting at a Valero gas station just off the Interstate 30 bridge in downtown North Little Rock.
A police report says officers found Ashley inside her SUV suffering from gunshot wounds.
Dedrick says authorities are still searching for a suspect in the shooting.
