FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies say two people are dead after law officers were called to a home about a robbery.

Sgt. Sean Swain said Sunday that deputies were dispatched around 3 a.m. after a 911 call that included information that someone had been shot. Deputies arriving at a home in Eastover found two gunshot victims.

They were pronounced dead at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Swain says their names are not being released until family members are notified.
