NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Authorities have identified a woman fatally shot in a North Myrtle Beach restaurant parking lot as a North Carolina resident.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports (http://goo.gl/6nkHDO ) that the victim was 29-year-old Amanda Fisher of Brunswick County, N.C.

Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard declined to release further information on her wounds.

Officers responded to K&W Cafeteria on U.S. 17 about 11 a.m. Saturday after receiving a call about a woman lying in the parking lot.

Witnesses say a white car fled the scene.

Jay Fernandez, director of the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety, says a witness heard a gunshot, turned around and saw the woman hit the ground by the car.

The witness couldn’t tell if she was pushed out of the vehicle.
