WILSON, N.C. (AP) — Police in Wilson are investigating a weekend homicide.
Police tell local media outlets that they responded to a home in Wilson about 10 Friday night and found the body of 41-year-old Kenan Lamont Newton.
Although neighbors reported hearing several gunshots, police did not immediately release the cause of death.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Wilson Police Department.
