Mrs. Jean Quick Taylor, 65, of Selma, NC, formerly of Hamlet, died, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Johnston Medical Center, Smithfield.

She was born December 20, 1947, in Scotland Co. daughter of Luther Hoyt Quick and Rachel Gibson Quick.

Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of Highland Pines Free Will Baptist Church.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Highland Pines Free Will Baptist Church from 4:00-5:00 pm,with Rev. Don Kivett officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

At other times family will be at the Moody Home, 175 Airport Road, Rockingham.

She is survived by her husband, George Taylor of the home; daughters, Wendy Stewart Chavis of Rockingham and Crystal Williams Hester of Hamlet; and five grandchildren.
