Crate Benjamin King, 62, of Midway Road, Rockingham, died, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at his residence.
A graveside memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at Eastside Cemetery, Rockingham, with Rev. Carl Moree officiating. Burial will follow.
He was born April 30, 1950 in High Scholls, a son of George William King Jr. and Lillie Bell Ragsdale King. He was self-employed as a painter.
King is survived by his sister, Irene K. Frye of Rockingham; and brother, Toby King of Rockingham.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
