Genevea Ingram Orr, 81, of 150 Lady Mary Lane Apt 5-G, Rockingham, died Friday, Dec. 14, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. at New Diggs Chapel AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Carol Turner. Burial will follow at New Diggs Church Cemetery.

Public visitation will be Monday, Dec. 17, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham.

Orr was a member of New Diggs where she served as a Deaconess and choir member.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Robinson of Charlotte; two sons, Billy Ingram of Rockingham and Jeffrey Orr of Charlotte; one brother, Archie Ingram of Oakland, Calif., and a host of relatives and friends.

Nelson Funeral Service of Rockingham is assisting the family.
