Joseph Wayne Estridge Jr., 45, of 121 West Ridge Court, Rockingham, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 22, at 6 p.m. at Abundant Life Church with Pastor Joe Wilkes officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Estridge was born Aug. 1, 1966, in Richmond County, son of Joseph W. Estridge Sr. and Martha Stein Estridge. He previously worked in textiles and attended Abundant Life Church in Rockingham.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, Joseph “Joe” W. Estridge Sr. of Ansonville; sons, Joseph Childers of Hamlet, Brandon Estridge of Rockingham and Justin Estridge of Rockingham; brothers, Andrew Estridge of Rockingham and Gary Estridge of the home; and one grandchild.

Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Estridge family.
