Allison Leigh Ricks and Warren Christian Zweigart were married on Dec. 29, 2012, 6 p.m. in the evening at Highland United Methodist Church. The Reverend David Goehring officiated. Following the wedding ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the North Carolina Museum of Art.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Keith Ricks of Pinehurst. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Martin Williams of Winston-Salem and the late Clarence Linville Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Graham Ricks.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas David Zweigart of Raleigh. He is the grandson of Gina Zweigart of Raleigh and the late Dr. T.F. Zweigart Jr. and Mrs. Ruth Hagler of Charlotte, and the late Reverend W.O. Warren.

Matrons of honor were Amy Ricks Schroeder of Charlotte, sister of the bride, and Christine Patterson Ricks of Greensboro, sister-in-law of the bride. The groom’s father served as best man. William Frederick Zweigart of Brooklyn, N.Y., brother of the groom, served as groomsman. Ushers were Jeffrey Graham Ricks of Greensboro, brother of the bride, and Croy Case Schroeder of Charlotte, brother-in-law of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Richmond Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The groom graduated from Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh. He received an Engineering Degree from North Carolina State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The couple resides in London, United Kingdom.
