Alma S. Bowers, 95, died Nov. 27, 2012, at Autumn Care of Marshville.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Gospel Tabernacle in Peachland. Interment will follow in the Peachland City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

She was the daughter of the late James C. and Bessie Thomas Smith. Bowers was preceded in death by her husband, Emsley Bowers, her children: Sybil B. Garris, Lewis Bowers, and John David Bowers. She was also preceded in death by her grandchildren, Lane Bowers and Joseph Garris.

Bowers is survived by her two daughters, Jane B. Godwin (Lynn) of Peachland and Ann B. Craddock (Vernon) of Rockingham, one brother, Curtis Smith also of Peachland, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren,
