The United States Air Force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado was the site of the wedding of Brittany Grace Sellers of Colorado Springs and James Marvin (Todd)Hamilton of Hamlet. The ceremony was conducted at 2:00 P.M. on May 24th with the Reverend (Dr.) Tim Matheny of Colorado Springs joining the couple in holy matrimony.

The bride is the daughter of David and Sheila Sellers of Colorado Springs and the granddaughter of the late Carl P. Matheny and Betty Lou Matheny of Benton, Kentucky and the late Floyd O. Sellers and the late Tamiko Sellers of Colorado Springs. The bride attended Colorado University, Colorado Springs where she majored in European History.

The groom is the son of Rick and Irma Hamilton of Hamlet and the grandson of the late Cliff Hamilton and Velva Hamilton of Cordova and the late Cleto Melgar of Panama City, Panama and Publia de Malcolm of LaChorrera, Panama. James is a 2008 graduate of Richmond Senior High and a 2012 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where he majored in Political Science and is a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a white wedding gown with exquisite bodice beading. The maid of honor was Cassie Church of Colorado Springs. The bride was attended by four bridesmaids and flower girl. The best man was Josiah Eubank of Pratt, Kansas. After the marriage ceremony, the couple walked down the aisle through the saber arch. In attendance from Rockingham was the groom's aunt, Kathy Phillips and his cousin Travis Garner.

The reception was held at the Falcon Club on the grounds of the United States Air Force Academy. After dining and dancing, the couple prepared for their trip to North Carolina. The newlyweds are on a three week honeymoon in the Republic of Panama. They will make their new home at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.

A reception will be held on Saturday, July 7, from 1:00 to 6:00 at the home of Rick and Irma Hamilton in Hamlet.
