Policeman J.C. 'Clint' Neeley took the oath of office from Gwendolyn Swinney Thursday at Rockingham City Hall. Neeley joins the Rockingham Police Department after serving a combined eight-plus years with the Hamlet and Wadesboro Police Departments. Neeley will be assigned to the patrol division. “I am glad to have Officer Neeley join the department,” said Chief Robert Voorhees. “Clint brings experience and training from a variety of sources and will be an asset to the City of Rockingham."

And why did Mr. Neely leave Wadesboro P.D.??? Maybe you should ask around, being he's such a good officer...

Rockingham just got one of the better officers in area! A good level headed police officer,

with a lot of experience.
