A nominating committee, whose purpose is to receive nominations from the membership, was appointed during the June meeting of the board. The committee members are Bob Marshall, Marchell Adams-David, T.C. Hall, Scott Leonard and Terry Lewis.
The committee members as well as the chamber staff is accepting nominations. Only written nominations will be accepted. The committee will meet on Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at the chamber office. Chamber members are welcome to attend to submit their nominations.
If you know of someone who would be an asset to the board and is willing to serve, the chamber wants to know. Chamber member representatives are encouraged to present their nominations on company letterhead, in person, by fax, or mail their nominations to the chamber office to make suggestions .
