U.S. Rep. Larry Kissell will host a meeting with business and government leaders from throughout the eighth district at the Cole Auditorium Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The event is a follow-up to the Kissell/McIntyre Federal Resources Summit held at the Laurinburg/Maxton Airport in December.
Approximately 200 people attended the summit, which Kissell hosted along with U.S. Rep. Mike McIntyre who represents the next district to the east.
Tuesday’s event is intended for constituents of Richmond, Scotland, Anson and Montgomery counties.
“We want to know what ideas were generated at the previous meeting, and what we can do to help moving forward,” said Kissell spokesperson Haven Kerchner.
Registration for the event begins at 9:30 the morning of the event.
