Brad Cauthen, formerly of Rockingham, recently graduated from the Executive MBA program at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. The commencement was held in September at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill. Jim Rogers, chairman and CEO of Duke Energy, delivered the commencement address.

Cauthen is a 1995 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and is employed by Progress Energy and lives in Raleigh.

UNC Kenan-Flagler prepares individuals to lead organizations, guide teams, and drive change. The 20-month program focuses on broadening business acumen, specifically in the areas of analytics, strategy, and leadership.

Every two years, BusinessWeek ranks executive MBA programs around the world. UNC Kenan-Flagler’s MBA program for Executives was recently ranked Number 11 in the world. Additionally, UNC was the only program to receive a perfect report card in all categories graded – Teaching, Curriculum, and Support.
