A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Earl Henderson.
Donald was born January 6, 1958 in Scotland County, son of Dora Sheppard Berry and the late J.W. Berry. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Donald worked with Murphy Brown, Inc. and Mt. Airy Farms.
He was preceded in death by a son, Damien Berry.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Locklear Berry; his daughters, Amanda Lea Berry of Chesapeake, VA and Shannon Raye Berry of Laurinburg; his mother, Dora Sheppard Berry of Laurel Hill; brothers, Leroy Dunn, Thomas Dunn, Michael Dunn, James Berry and Bobby Berry; sisters, Charlie Ann Berry, Sharon Berry and Debra Berry; two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
