Dear Editor,

I thank God for the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.

Jesus loves us so much He gave His life for you and me. Only once did He have to die, for every ones sins everyday. He is the only one that can cleanse us from sin.

Romans 22-25 : Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

I thank God and Jesus that He shed His blood for my sins. I have thanked God in prayer for every drop of blood He shed for me. Every drop. Can you imagine how many drops was shed? He not only was betrayed, mocked, spit on, hit, even with a crown of thorns put on His head. He was scourged, chastised before He was nailed and crucified. So much His visage was marred.

Isaiah 52:14 As many were astonished at thee; His visage was so marred more that any man, and His form more than the sons of men: In the Old Testament they killed animals for their blood to cover mans sin. In the New Testament God sent His Son Jesus, to shed His blood for the remission of all mans sins.

John 3:16-17. Jesus’s blood is so precious to me! Hebrews 9:11-12 But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, buy a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. When we think of Christ’s blood it should bring us joy. Some feel they need to take the blood of Jesus out of songs, out of church worship, and even out of His Holy word. Without the blood of Jesus there is no remission of sin. Every drop was shed in love!
