Wanda Collins Brown, 59, of Rockingham, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Richmond County Hospice Haven. She was born June 19, 1953, in Richmond County a daughter of the late, Curtis and Lena Morgan Collins.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked with Bi-Lo Grocery Store in the Deli department.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Michael Price and Rev. Don Kivett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Inez Thompson; and a brother, Jimmy Collins.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest T. Brown Jr.; a son, Ernest T. Brown III of Rockingham; a daughter, Karen Lynn Brown of York, S.C.; and three sisters, Faye Bridges and husband, Larry of Woodbridge, Va., Gerry Culler of Hamlet, and Helen Watson of Hamlet.
