Faye and John Hatcher
John and Faye Hatcher celebrated their 5oth wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends on Dec. 22, 2012.
John Leonard Hatcher Sr. and Linda Faye Wilson were married on Dec. 22, 1962, in Rockingham. Reverend Frank McQuage performed the ceremony. The couple was honored to have Preacher Frank attend the 50th anniversary celebration.
The couple has four children and three grandchildren; son, John Leonard Hatcher Jr. and wife Amy of Asheboro; daughters, Jewel Mabe and husband Rick of Rockingham; Johanna Humphrey and husband Mitch of Rockingham; and Jessica Mims and husband Frank of Ellerbe. Grandchildren are Katie and Erin Mabe of Rockingham, and James Mims of Ellerbe.
