Dear Editor,
Believe it folks, there are still good people left in this world. Real-life guardian angels are truly among us.
This story takes place in the grocery aisle.
As I was checking out, about to reach for my checkbook, I heard a voice from behind me. I turned to a woman whom I’ve never met, offering to pay my bill. This bill was not cheap either.
I was astonished, speechless. She was serious. She then proceeded to pay the cashier. I’m still not sure exactly how that happened.
I was back at home before I realized I never said “thank you.” I’m sure I said something to the like, but the words themselves were never actually spoken, and I feel awful.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, thank you! God works His miracles through His angels and you were my angel that day. God bless you guardian angel.
