Pansy Juanita Outen , 85 of 124 5th Street Safie died Saturday March 2, 2013 in Rockingham Manor.
Born June 14, 1927 in Gaston County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Caldwell Mincey. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by sons; James Carson Outen, Jr. and Danny Outen, a daughter, Betty Wilhoit, a granddaughter, Jill Outen and a sister Eunice Faulk.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Carson Outen, Sr., a son, Wayne “Tim” Outen of Rockingham, nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday at Sweet Haven Church officiated by Rev. Mitchell Roller. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Monday at Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home.
