The parents of Abby Lynn Henry and Lucas Carrington Young announce the couple’s engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Randy Henry of Lilesville, and Doug and Cindy Auman of Hamlet. She is also the granddaughter of Judy Henry and the late Bill Henry of Lilesville, and Nancy Gulledge and the late Bill Gulledge of Lilesville. She graduated from Richmond Senior High School in 2007 and from U.N.C. Pembroke in 2011, with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics. Abby is currently employed at Lilesville Elementary School.
The groom-elect is the son of Mechell Young of Rockingham. He is also the grandson of Dean and Lillie Buck of Rockingham. Lucas is a 2007 graduate from Richmond Senior High School. He is currently employed at Hornwood Inc. in Lilesville.
The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Lilesville Baptist Church with Reverend Teddy Lawson performing the ceremony.
