We are under the judgement of God

Dear Editor,

Those who study the Bible from beginning to end know there are four things which bring destruction to a nation. They are: open homosexuality, the shedding of innocent blood, taking the land of Israel away from the Hebrews and God’s people living worldly lives.

Since the United States is now promoting homosexuality as normal, aborting babies by the millions per year, and pushing Israel (since 1991) to give up its land, we are under the judgement of God. If we do not change our course, the United States will cease to exist as a free Republic of 50 states.

However, whatever happens to our country, Christians should strive to live holy lives before God. Currently, this is not the case. Throughout our land, Christians talk, dress and act like the world. Christian parents allow their children to listen to ungodly music, play ungodly games (i.e., in video games like”Grand Theft Auto,” the targets for killing are people), watch ungodly movies, read ungodly material, use ungodly language and dress in ungodly clothes.

Until Christians strive to fulfill the Lord’s command of “Be ye holy as I am holy,” God will not heal our land.

Actually there are ten. The everlasting covenant, ten words, ten commands, ten commandments. The fourth command is the sign of that everlasting covenant.

If mankind would keep them then the Mosaic Law (law of Mosheh/Moses) would be a moot point.

Brothers and sisters,

"Holy" is pagan in that it is derived from the divinely honored sun (see Dictionary of Mythology Folklore and Symbols, page 781 or google this. The correct Hebrew word is "Qodesh" and "Haglios" in Greek meaning "set-apart"

Exodus 20:8-11 "Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart...Therefore Yahuweh blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart."

Accepting homosexuality and abortion as normal is not set apart.

Mr. Shutt, "Nothing can be more contrary to religion and the clergy than reason and common sense." Voltaire. This was true then and is true now, intolerance of others is not a Christian value that is to be emulated by others.
