Dear Editor,
I want to thank the Daily Journal and the Williams family for the recent article published on the life of Jody Williams.
Though I did not know Jody, his life and tragic, untimely death was made much more real though this article. My heart and prayers go out to the Williams family during this incredibly difficult time. Your little boy was clearly a great young man and will surely be missed by many.
Put your trust in God and he will see you through.
To the Daily Journal staff — This article reminds me of the Journal I grew up with and I would encourage you to focus your efforts in this style more in the future.
Being a small town paper, people are looking for the heartfelt stories that help us connect as a community. Some hard-nosed investigative reporting is certainly necessary, but articles like this one are what make a local paper special. Thanks again.
