John David Boyd Jr., 3-days-old, died Dec. 10, 2012, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital, Rockingham.
He was born Dec. 7, 2012, in Richmond County, infant son of John David Boyd Sr. and Brittany Heather Martin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his parents, John Boyd and Brittany Martin of the home; paternal grandmother, Diane Dawkins of Hamlet; and maternal grandmother, Pamela Hensley of Hamlet.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
