Carol Craven Galloway Friz, 74, passed away, Saturday, November 24, 2012.

Mrs. Friz was born June 25, 1938 in Richmond County, NC, a daughter of the late Walter Hadley and Lillie Blonde Warner Craven.

She was a member of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Survivors include her loving husband, Helmut W. Friz; two sons, Jeffrey Kent Galloway (Stephanie), of North Myrtle Beach, Dwight Lee Galloway of Cosby, TN; stepson, Helmut H. Friz (Jeri) of Naperville, IL; three grandsons, Joshua Galloway of North Myrtle Beach, Dan Friz (Stacey) of Washington, MI, Greg Friz (Kim) of Macungie, PA; great grandson, Jackson Friz; great granddaughter, Melanie Friz; four sisters, Alma Ligon, Fay McIntosh, Grace Robinson and Betsy Brewer. She is predeceased by sisters, Jewel Henley, Eula Brown, Hazel Petty, Mary Johnson and brother, Edward Craven.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 29 at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Daryle Bush will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to honor Carol Craven Galloway Friz to Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 277, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29597.
