Martha H. Walters, 89, formerly of Hamlet, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Charlotte. She was born April 10, 1923 in Hamlet a daughter of the late Arthur Raymond and Ludie Gill Bundy Hawley.
Mrs. Walters was a member of Second Baptist Church and retired supervisor with Southern Bell.
Graveside services will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Love Cemetery with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating.
Surviving: A daughter, Barbara Hart of Charlotte. Grandchildren, Joe Johnson and Martha Helms. Great-grandchildren, Harris, Caroline and Staton Helms.
