Major Bryan Thorpe
Roberdell Baptist Church and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office are sponsoring a fundraiser for Major Bryan Thorpe.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17. A volleyball tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. for $30 per team and a corn hole tournament will begin at 11 a.m. for $40 per team. Hot dogs will be sold as well as raffle tickets for a silent auction to win a flat screen TV.
Thorpe has been a part of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office family and has been dedicated to serving the community for more than 20 years. The fundraiser is to help him with medical expenses.
