Pallie Harrington Ellerbe, 96, of 149 Morrow St., Dobbins Heights, died on Nov. 1, 2012, at Richmond Pines in Hamlet.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 7, at St. Stephens Baptist Church, Rockingham. Eulogy will be delivered by Bishop Thomas Wooten. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham.
The daughter of the late Alexander and Roxanna Harrington, she was born June 9, 1916, in Richmond County (Wolf Pit), and attended Richmond County schools. Ellerbe was a member of St. Stephens Baptist Church, Rockingham, and Pemberton Temple Church of God and Christ, in Hamlet. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jackson Ellerbe.
Survivors include her sister, Niccie Petties of New York, N.Y., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
