The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating vandalism that occurred this weekend at the Cordova School, located at 194 Church St. in Cordova.

According to lawmen, an unidentified suspect entered school grounds and shattered the windshields of all of the school’s buses. Several brake lights and turn signals were broken, as well, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The vandalism was reported on Saturday, and lawmen suspect it may have occurred sometime on Friday evening.

The Sheriff’s Office is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible. If you or anyone you know has information regarding this crime, call 910-895-3232.
