Monday the Richmond County Democratic Women will have as their speaker Wilma Laney, who is Director of N.C. Democratic Women Region #6. Monday evening Laney will be the guest speaker for the Democratic Women at 6 p.m. This meeting will be held in the old court house, Court room A, on Franklin St., in Rockingham. The picture shows President Pam Dillman of the Richmond County Chapter of Democratic Women with Wilma Laney. They both attended the first regional meeting in Pinehurst for the North Carolina Association of Democratic Women. The meeting Monday will be open to all the New Teen Democrats. The Richmond County Democratic Women will be starting this new club for teen Democrats this year. All teens interested in joining should attend this meeting Monday at 6 p.m. The bus trip to the Democratic Convention in Charlotte is Sept. 6, and does have some seating still available.
