Roberdel Baptist Church will host a Go Tell Funday to help raise money for the Go Tell Crusade with Rick Gage that is coming to the Raider Stadium next month.

On Sept. 8, there will be indoor and outdoor activities at the church on the corner of Richmond and Roberdel roads in Rockingham. There will be a volleyball tournament and a corn hole tournament. Participants should come to the church to sign up by 8 a.m., and will begin playing at 8:30 a.m.

Volleyball will be played in six-person teams with at least two ladies and there is a $30 entry fee per team.

Corn hole will have two-person teams and costs $10 to enter per team.

Barbecue plates will be sold after 10 a.m., for $7 per plate. They come with pork, two sides and a desert.

Anyone interested in helping or contributing is asked to clean out their attic, storage buildings and closets and donate anything large or small, including seasonal items like Christmas, fall, spring, etc. decorations, baby items or books. You can bake and donate a cake as well.

All proceeds go towards supporting the Go Tell Crusade with Rick Gage that will be held on Sept. 16-19.

Signup sheets for team events, cake donations, volunteers, and barbecue pre-sell should be available at your church or contact Titus or Jessica Liles.
