James and Patty Brigman of Rockingham recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
James is retired from the United States Navy.
Children of the couple include Tina B. Wallace of Rockingham, James Brigman Jr. of Rockingham, John Brigman of Japan and the late Gregory Scott Brigman, who the couple said is remembered daily in their prayers.
James and Patty also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a celebration was held July 14, 2012, at the couple’s home hosted by their children.
In attendance was their daughter, Tina Wallace, with husband Bryan; and sons James Brigman Jr. with wife Lori of Rockingham and John Brigman of Japan; as well as grandchildren, Michael B. and Corey B. Wallace, Felicia Brigman, and Jade Brigman; and great-grandchildren, Eric Frey and Levi Brown.
The couple’s daughter and son-in-law furnished a beautiful two-tiered cake trimmed in red and pink tea roses with pearls and gold sequins for the celebration.
