I have an issue with Mr. Randleman's letter. The GOP is trying to strengthen the party and become more centrist. That is the very thing the Democratic party has been trying to achieve ever since Ronald Reagan took office.
I applaud the GOP for finally seeing that 80 percent of all Americans are centrist in terms of how they view our political system and the world (remember the bell curve?). If it includes revamping how they reach out to the gay and pro-choice factions, I’m all for it.
Not everyone has the ultra-conservative views that Mr. Randleman possibly possesses. And the GOP has been ruled by that 10 percent minority for way too long.

Good letter Russell
Yeah...if you want to join the ranks of Baby killers! That's where Steele is taking the GOP and if anyone gets in his way he will knock them over!
Giving lasciviousness women and irresponsible men under the law to kill the unborn for their sin and lack of responsibility, Then yeah....good letter Russell, you're now a centrist Republicrat....my..my..my....still nothing from the RCGOP......hiding until the stench of your new lost leader dies down aye?
I don't think that's going to work. Your guestimation that 80% of Americans are centrists is coming from where? Maybe the Micheal Steele guidebook to fooling a Conservative? There's nothing worse than seeing a Conservative speak about principles who then change theirs when their party is going in a different direction.
You either support it or you don't. There is no middle ground when it comes to principles. If you try to play that game your principles will be corrupted.
If you're opposed to abortion and gay marriage then it's time to step away from the GOP. They have stepped in line with the beliefs of the democrats. They support the murder of unborn children and the perversion of the Nuclear family.
Either stand up for your principles now or refrain from complaining about it later.
If "80%" of Americans are centrists, Does that make the ulta-conservative a minority? If so, What party speaks for them? I guess I'll answer that question. The only conservative party left is the Constitution Party.
So any Christians out there that still support the Two Big Box parties that promote killing unborn babies and supporting sodomy and perversion need to rethink their political affiliation or knowingly turn your back on God! The Bible warns you in 2 Corinthians 6:14
"Do Not Be Yoked With Unbelievers ] Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"
The GOP according to Mr. Steele and Mr Russell are turning their back on God and His commandments! What a crying shame, what a wicked thing has happened!
