In addition to these organizations Bruce was active in Keep Richmond County Beautiful and the Richmond County Planning Board. Speakers remembered her dedication to environmental causes and her 45-year career as a nurse. The outdoor program beside the new landscaping was followed by a reception at the Clubhouse hosted by the Woman's Club.
