The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation (CCUF) recently awarded Christopher Kirkley of Hamlet a Scholar Vision scholarship.
The Scholar Vision Funds are a collection of funds and resources established to help credit union members in North and South Carolina achieve a higher level of education. The Foundation believes that as individual’s self-esteem and economic well-being may be grounded in academic development.
“Education is a common thread that binds understanding,” said John P. McGrail, President/CEO of CCUF. “These objectives are at the heart of credit unions and are fully supported by the Foundation. We congratulate our winners and wish them well in their academic journey.”
Kirkley, who is a member of Local Government FCU, plans to attend UNC - Charlotte.
