The Carolina Behavioral Care office located at 109 Medical Circle Suite A, in Rockingham, will be closing this month.

The last day the Rockingham location will be open is May 25. The group of 14 physicians will continue to practice out of the main office, located at 289 Olmsted Blvd., Suite One, in Pinehurst.

A list of local alternative treatment options has been released by CBC, for clients who are unable to continue services in Pinehurst.

The names of the companies were provided by Sandhills Center, and offer a variety of services to children and adults in the Rockingham area:

Trinity Services: 910-461-1761 Provides outpatient therapy and medication management for children, teens and adults. They offer individual therapy and group therapy and multi systemic family therapy. Located off Highway 74 in Rockingham.

NC Mentor: 910-997-2375 Provides outpatient therapy and medication management for children, teens and adults as well as Intensive In Home Therapy. Located on Fayetteville Road near Food Lion.

Daymark: 910-895-2462 Provides outpatient therapy, substance abuse treatment and medication management for children, teens and adults. Accepts patients without insurance. They will explain how their policy works.

Family First: 910-206-3080 Hamlet, 704-694-2232 Wadesboro Provides outpatient therapy and medication management for children and adults.

Carolina Family Comprehensive Services: 910-817-7194 Provides outpatient therapy, Intensive In Home and Substance Abuse therapy for Adults Only. Located at 801 East Broad Street in Rockingham.

Sandhills Alternative Academy: 910-417-4922 Provides services for children and teens only. Provides Outpatient therapy, Intensive Outpatient substance abuse treatment for teens, Day treatment program and Intensive In Home Services, Medication Management coordination provided.

Robeson Family Counseling: 910-276-7011 They have counselors with many types of expertise and provide many types of counseling — depression, anxiety, stress, coping with difficult situations, religious matters, adjustment to divorce and other crises in life.
