Volunteer cleanup crews manicure the area around Hamlet City Lake every year.
Hamlet’s annual Meet at the Lake Day will be this Saturday.
Every year, community members turn out for a morning of cleanup around the lake. People are invited to stop by and help with debris and litter cleanup, beginning at 7 a.m. The project will last until approximately 9 a.m.
Tools and supplies will be available, but individuals are welcome to bring their own.
Hamlet City Lake is located off Highway 74 West, beside the Hamlet Senior Center and across from the fairground.
