Mr. John Randall Dunn, 71, of Rockingham, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Morrison Manor Hospice Care in Laurinburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, in Faith Baptist Church on Hatcher Road with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlake United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Richmond County, Randall was born on June 15, 1940 to the late John and Mildred Burns Dunn. Prior to becoming disabled he worked for Sumter Builders erecting electrical lines. He was an avid motorcyclist and had belonged to several motorcycle clubs over the years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorinda Ann Dunn in 2010.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Donna and Mackie Altman of Rockingham; a brother, Billy Rex Dunn of Lawrenceville, GA; three grandchildren, Blake, Randy, and Hannah Altman; and a great-granddaughter, Arlee Rose.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9:00 at Faith Baptist Church and other times at the home, 938 US HWY 1 N., Rockingham.
