Dear Editor,
The story about Trayvon Martin is sad and my heart goes out to the family and I am behind them in support for justice for them!
But we (the citizens of Richmond County) got some wild weeds that we need to tend to in our own yard. For example, Timothy Carman Wall who is sitting in the Richmond County Jail for AGAIN ATTACKING ANOTHER WOMAN. He has been doing these types of things and being in and out of jail in the last 20 years.
I have sent an editorial earlier this year in February listed under “No Plea Bargains.” I had a lot of positive feedback on this issue and like everything else you can’t please everybody. You have negative feedback from every situation but I only had one negative feedback, which was expected.
This is my answer I give for everyone who has a negative response, and that is, if you can’t be part of the solution, please don’t be part of the problem. For those who have done landscaping, you will have to pull the weed like (Timothy Carman Wall) from the root like (society) and some folks use Weed Be Gone like (the court system) to be sure that wild weed like (Tim) don’t resurface again!
The citizens of Richmond County, we all need to keep our eyes open concerning this case and others because how can you tell or advise anybody and try to help others about how to fix their yard and you haven’t tried to fix your own yard?
Sincerely yours,
John Mack
Rockingham
