Kimberly Lingler, M.D., from FirstHealth Richmond Family Medicine, and the physician team from the FirstHealth Richmond Medical Group – Women’s Center will be featured in the 2012 Just for You Annual Women’s Series at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham.
Dr. Lingler will speak on Depression in Women during the program to be held on Monday, April 16, while the Women’s Center physicians including Mohamed A.Y. Ibrahim, M.D., Angela Morrison, M.D. and Donald Jones, M.D., will offer a panel for your questions and answers regarding women’s health care on Monday, April 30.
Each program will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the hospital’s cafeteria. The Annual Women’s Series is sponsored by the FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital Foundation, which supports FirstHealth services for the residents of Richmond County.
During her April 16 presentation, Lingler will talk about the different types depression women may have, the causes and treatment options.
Dr. Lingler’s portion of the program will be followed by a Yoga Relaxation Techniques demonstration by Susan Perkins of the FirstHealth Center for Health & Fitness-Richmond. Several classes are currently offered at the Center for Health & Fitness-Richmond.
During the April 30, Women’s Series participants are asked to come prepared with questions for the panel of OB/GYN specialists.
