The Hamlet Police Department is currently seeking information on a series of acts of vandalism in the Hamlet area.

According to Deputy N.L. Forester of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, various buildings in Hamlet, including Hamlet City Hall, Hamlet Public Library, Richmond County Schools Administrative Offices, City of Hamlet Police Department, First Presbyterian Church, Joe’s Florist and local dentist Dr. Marshall Brown’s office, have recently had graffiti painted on the walls.

Police Chief John Haywood and the Hamlet Police Department are offering a reward to anybody who has information leading to arrest of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
