The Hamlet Police Department recently arrested Talik Dequan McMillan, 25, 119 Jodie Drive, Hamlet, for assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, and communicating threats. No bond was issued.
Other recent arrests made by the Hamlet Police Department include:
— James Arthur Goins Jr., 45, 104 Delano St., McColl, S.C., was arrested for failure to appear - assault inflicting serious injury. A secure bond was set in the amount of $1,500.
— Anthony Terrell Wall, 25, 103 Thomas St., Hamlet, was arrested for probation violations. A secure bond was set in the amount of $5,000.
— Melissa C. Player, 29, 503 Hawthorne Lane, Hamlet, was arrested for assault and battery. No bond was issued.
— Savannah Clarisha Wall, 28, 814 Ridge Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for communicating threats. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.
— Michael W. West, 40, 261 2nd St. Safie, Rockingham, was arrested on three counts of failure to appear - obtaining property by false pretenses. A secure bond was set in the amount of $10,000.
