Richmond advances to Hoopla finals

MEBANE - The Richmond Senior girls basketball team knocked off the host school, Eastern Alamance, 49-47 as Kivana Keane hit two free throws with under 10 second left in the contest to lift Richmond to the win.

The victory allowed the Raiders to advance to Saturday's Holiday Hoopla championship game against Southeast Raleigh at 6:30 p.m.

Tiara Ellerbe netted a team-high 15 points for Richmond (7-1).
