Mrs. Theola Dockery Wallace, 83, of 408 Pine Street, Hamlet, died on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1596 East Highway 74, Hamlet, with Rev. Leroy Tyson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Service of Hamlet.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her nine loving children: Howard Wallace Jr., Margaret Williams, Annette Bundley, Carolyn Elaine David, Shirley McNeil, Phillip Wallace, Michael Wallace, Josephine Wallace, and Maxine Jones; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
