Bruce Bittle
Bruce Albert Bittle, 55, of Rockingham, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in Moore County.
The family will see friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Ellerbe Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating.
Mr. Bittle was born Nov. 29, 1955, in Richmond County, a son of the late Thomas Edward and Mary Callahan Bittle. He had served in the US Air Force and had been employed with the maintenance department of Richmond County Schools.
Surviving are a son, Bruce A. Bittle Jr. of Greenville, N.C.; a daughter, Felicia B. Culbreth of Ellerbe; brothers, Edward Bittle of West End, Tim Bittle and Donnie Bittle, both of Rockingham; and sisters, Sandra Bankston of California, Hilda Carroll of Ellerbe, Denise Gregory and Lisa Bittle, both of Rockingham.
