Robbie Burr and Max White swept both categories of the “Rock and Reel” fishing tournament on Sunday.
The duo won $130 for the “big fish” prize, with a weigh-in of 21.4 pounds.
They also walked away with a $1,000 cash prize as “total weigh in” winners, with three fish weighing in at 53.8 pounds.
The “Rock” portion of their prize were two free tickets to races at the Rockingham Speedway — the American 200 and the Polar Bear 150.
The tournament started at 6 a.m. Sunday morning, at Blewett Falls Lake, and was hosted by Scotty’s Bait and Tackle in partnership with Richmond County Tourism Development Authority.
