The Richmond County Board of Education is slated to choose a new leader tonight in Hamlet.
An otherwise sparse agenda includes the selection of a Board of Education chairman.
Former Chairman Ken Goodman stepped down last month after being elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives.
The board will also receive its 2009-10 fiscal year audit, recognize students for their Christmas artwork and select a bid on a new chiller for Rockingham Middle.
The board will meet at the RCS Central Office in Hamlet at 7 p.m.
